What is Feng Shui?

(and how the heck do you pronounce it?)

Feng Shui (say "fung shway") is all about making simple changes to your home in order to improve whatever areas of your life are maybe not going as well as you'd like.

Using practices that originated in ancient China, the contemporary, western style of feng shui is a process of analyzing and correcting the energy in your home. We call this energy "chi," and you can gain a good understanding of how feng shui works by considering how chi is reflected in the natural world.

Where chi is strong, land will be lush and fertile, nourished by a good balance of sunlight and water, and supporting an abundant variety of healthy plants, birds and animals. Where chi is weak, however, the landscape is barren, water is scarce or stagnant, and plant and animal life suffers.

When there is a smooth flow of beneficial chi throughout your home, your life will be easier. Without a nourishing flow of chi, your relationships, creativity, health, cash flow and career may suffer.

Fast Feng Shui is my proven approach to teaching the modern, western style of feng shui. It's beginner-friendly, step-by-step, and free of a lot of the superstition and dogma that have crept in to the more old-fashioned way of doing things. All of the changes you'll make to your home -- whether that's removing clutter, moving your furniture around, or adding "enhancements" such as plants and artwork -- are designed to specifically address your own unique desires for a better life.
