Before we jump into
exploring the Fast Feng Shui Relationship Cycle and making changes to
your home, you should be familiar with the basic tools of feng shui. These
include the ba
gua energy map, which determines what areas of your home are most
affecting your love life, and the five
feng shui elements—key influences that help you balance and correct
the chi of your home to encourage love and romance.
For those who are
new to feng shui (and for anyone who could use a refresher), an introduction
to the ba gua and the five elements is included in the Appendices at the
back of the book. It would be a good idea for you to read through that
basic information before moving ahead to the next chapter, which provides
a brief summary of the nine guiding principles taught in the first Fast
Feng Shui book.
The rest of this book
takes you step by step through the five stages of the Relationship Cycle.
At each stage, we will explore how to work with the ba gua energy map
and the five elements to make appropriate adjustments to your home, based
on the objectives and tasks for that stage.
While you may jump ahead to read about the phase
you are in right now, it's also a good idea to review the chapters
on earlier stages of the Relationship Cycle, to make sure you don't
overlook any feng shui tips that might be helpful for you.
