With cell phone radiation now classified as a possible carcinogen by the World Health Organization (WHO), people are getting more concerned about the effects of their cell phone use on their health. One of the quickest ways of reducing risk (aside from avoiding use of cell phones altogether) is by using low radiation cell phones or cell phones whose SAR rating is well below the standard set by FCC. SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate and is a measure of the rate at which energy is absorbed by the body when exposed to a radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field.
