PRINCIPLE 8:
Work on Yourself as Well as Your Home
| If you don't take care of yourself -- emotionally
as well as physically -- it will be harder to experience and
appreciate the benefits of feng shui. |
Feng shui is sometimes called "acupuncture for
the home" because it opens, adjusts and balances the flow of chi
through a space. I encourage you to explore ways to open, adjust
and balance your own personal chi as well. All of the feng shui
changes that you make to your home will be more effective if you
are as healthy, vibrant, and alive as possible.
Ask yourself how much good feng shui will do
if you are too stressed, tired, or just plain cranky to follow up
on opportunities or make a good impression on the people you meet.
If you are committed to turning your life around, be sure to include
self-care and renewal as part of your overall feng shui strategy!
